Washington State Anti-Trafficking Efforts 

There are A LOT of organizations working to combat human trafficking in Washington State. We hope this list of organizations and individuals will be helpful to you in seeking information, training, or partnership.

Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network
WARN is a coalition of community-based organizations providing direct services to victims of human trafficking.  WARN is the primary program serving foreign national victims of human trafficking in Washington State.  WARN also provides education, training, and outreach about human trafficking to service providers, community members, and other stakeholders throughout Washington State.

 

Washington Advisory Committee on Trafficking(WashACT)
WashACT is a multi-disciplinary taskforce convened in 2006 by the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington. The Committee’s mission is to insure that victims of trafficking receive all resources available to them; and that human traffickers are identified, investigated and prosecuted to the utmost extent of the law. WashACT is co-chaired by Assistant US Attorney Ye-Ting Woo, a member of Seattle Police Department’s Vice High Risk Victims Unit and Kathleen Morris, Program Manager for the Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network. Members meet monthly to share information on trafficking and resources to victims of trafficking; to identify and remedy gaps in services to victims; and to coordinate investigations and prosecution of trafficking cases. Innocence Lost Taskforce (ILTF)
ILTFs across the US involve federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies working with U.S. Attorney’s Offices to address the growing problem of domestic sex trafficking of children. Innocence Lost Taskforces for Snohomish, King, and Pierce Counties meet regularly and are led by Assistant US Attorney Ye-Ting Woo. The ILTF is focused on rescuing children involved in sex trafficking, referring them for services, and prosecuting their traffickers. It is made up of federal and local law enforcement, direct service providers, and prosecutors. For more information, please contact
